— BIO —
Bilingual Australian-German Isabella Heymann is a professional freelance ballet and contemporary dancer living in Germany. She graduated from the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts in 2012 with a bachelor in dance under the direction of Birgit Keil. Isabella had since engagements in ballet companies at theatres such as Detmold Regional Theatre and Theatre of West Pomerania in Greifswald. Subsequently she performed as a freelancer in dance projects in Austria, Belgium, and Germany. During her career Isabella has danced principle roles as for instance Dulcinea in Don Quixote, The Chosen One in Le Sacre du Printemps, and Cinderella in two different productions. Although having a classical ballet background, she is always receptive to and interested in a more grounded and experimental approach to dance.
